Partner Yoga Special - Massage and Therapeutics (Live Online session)
Partner Yoga Special - Massage and Therapeutics
Live Online session
As part of this month's Self Care theme, we're offering a Partner Yoga Special—a two-hour online session focusing on therapeutic stretches and Thai massage techniques.
Flying Therapeutics is an essential part of AcroYoga. When lifting someone off the floor and defying gravity, you can achieve better spine decompression and deep relaxation. Even with simple moves, you can help your partner release tension and stress.
Traditionally, Flying Therapeutics is taught to people with AcroYoga experience, as their understanding and practice make them more stable bases. We've adapted these techniques for beginners and partners with varying body types. In this class, everyone can experience the magic of Therapeutic Flying in an accessible and safe way.
Since Therapeutic Flying requires more energy and strength from the giver, we balance it with Thai Massage techniques to ensure both partners end the workshop feeling relaxed.
The beauty of the Thai Massage tradition lies in learning to listen to another's body through your own.
Thai Massage harnesses body weight, various body parts, and gravity to help the receiver relax while allowing the giver to protect their own body. Think of a Thai Massage session as a gentle yoga class. The beauty of this tradition lies in learning to listen to another's body through your own.
Like all Partner Yoga sessions, you'll need to bring a partner—this can be a friend, family member, or neighbor. No experience is necessary; we'll guide you step-by-step through all techniques. You'll leave this class feeling deeply relaxed, well cared for, and more connected to your partner.
Join us on Saturday May 17 from 4-6pm GMT+1 (Amsterdam time).
